The monumental granite of the Peter and Paul Fortress, the mirror-like surface of the Neva River, and a warming whirlwind of pure creative energy came together on May 23, when the ESTEL Open Salon \u201cHappy People\u201d opened its doors in the heart of St. Petersburg. It became the largest beauty salon in Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the snow-white dome of the marquee, 150 of the country\u2019s finest hairdressers gathered from different regions. After travelling hundreds and even thousands of kilometres, they came together to give residents and visitors of the Northern Capital a grand celebration of beauty, creativity, and happiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The joy of transformation began even before the first guests arrived. Like kind-hearted magicians, the stylists seemed to paint the cloudy St. Petersburg sky a vivid shade of blue with their unstoppable creative enthusiasm. This color magic then spread throughout the Open Salon itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Everyone who crossed its threshold experienced two transformations. The first happened from within, as guests were filled with genuine delight, energy, and pure joy. Then, that inner glow took visible form in happy smiles, excited expressions, warm embraces, and hundreds of colorful photographs taken against the backdrop of the beloved city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was simply impossible to count how many guests visited the Open Salon that day. The atmosphere of inspiration extended far beyond the hairstyling area, turning the space beside the walls of the Peter and Paul Fortress into a true cultural and creative promenade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Visitors could enjoy the live sound of a grand piano with a panoramic view of the Neva River, treat themselves to candyfloss during a puppet performance, and even try their hand at being puppeteers. Guests spontaneously recited poetry, sang songs, and danced. Most importantly, they also contributed to a good cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Instead of a traditional price list, services were offered in exchange for voluntary donations. Each guest decided how much to pay, and all the funds raised were donated to the Geography of Kindness Charitable Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Around 300 unique looks were created by the professionals in just six hours. This inspiring creative marathon required maximum concentration from the stylists, who worked towards both personal and team records, earning points for every completed look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They had everything they needed at their disposal, including extensive color palettes, a wide range of styling products, and care solutions designed to meet the varied needs of the scalp and hair. Yet the most important tool for every stylist was a sincere desire to bring joy to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coming together to fill the city with color, share the brightest emotions, and achieve something truly meaningful was incredible and truly impressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
